ABSTRACT Thesis Title : A ANALYSIS INTERPRETATION SHEPHERD CHURCH CONFERENCE JAKARTA AND SURROUNDING OF ACTS 1:8, IMPLEMENTATION AND TRANSMISSIONS GOSPEL MISSION IN ORDER TO CROSS CULTURE Researcher Name: Roys Panjaitan Title : M.Fil Supervisor : Dr. B.D. Nainggolan, MPS End Date : 21 April 2016 A church should have church members who come from ethnically and culturally diverse. It is not good if a church is composed of a same tribe. With the ethnic diversity, it will improve the quality of worship and also can make the service activities of the church are better. If a pastor was in a church that has a diversity of members, the pastor ought to act mingle and integrate that diversity. Do not show partiality to a certain tribe or partiality to his own tribe. A pastor should be able to cope with the situation when he was placed in a church where he does not have that tribal members of the congregation with him. But he must be able to protect the congregation. Therefore, in this study, will be investigated how the interpretation of the Pastor Seventh-day Adventist Church (Seventh-day Adventists) in DKI Jakarta Area Conference of the Acts 1: 8. Biblical Mission believes that in this commissioning, the Sender is God himself. God himself who actively send and activity of God's people are willing to send the response responsibilities are within the scope of the activity of God. The analysis conducted in this study are: 1. The description of the data, 2. validity Test 3. Reliability test, 4. Normality test, 5. Linearity test, 6. Hypothesis test, and 7. The descriptive statistics. The conclusion of this study is the first, linearity test results showed that the relationship between the understanding of the Church pastors to shepherd the interpretation of crosscultural preaching of the gospel. Linearity value of 5.74. Second, the role of the Shepherd of the Church Conference Jakarta Area in the Context of Cross-Cultural Mission Preaching of the Gospel to the Acts 1: 8 amounted to 88.5%, meaning that there are still 11.5% are other factors that affect the role of Shepherd of the Church Conference Jakarta and surrounding the Framework of Cross-Cultural Mission gospel preaching. Third, descriptive statistical result per educational background shows that on average respondents who have educational S2 which has a higher level of understanding of the respondents who have educational S1 and S3. Fourth, the average respondent lower answered statement No. 19, namely that the respondents believed that the one who can encourage members of the congregation and the church is involved in spreading the gospel through personal influence themed evangelical mission, with a total score of 4.24. And the average higher respondents answered statement No. 12, namely that the respondents understand that the preaching of the Gospel is based on Acts 1: 8 is not exclusively belong to the church but also for all His people. The fifth test results descriptive statistics per period and this shows that the average respondent has a service life of more than seven years have a higher level of understanding of the respondents who have a service life of less than 7 years. Sixth, the test results per anointing descriptive statistics show that on average respondents who had anointed who have higher level of understanding of the respondents who had not been anointed. The suggestion than this study is the first, maintained or enhanced the role of the Shepherd of the Church Conference Jakarta Area in the Context of Cross- Cultural Mission Preaching of the Gospel to the Acts 1: 8. Second, for the Pastor needs to be Improved understanding of the Church Conference Jakarta Area in the Context of Cross-Cultural Mission Preaching of the Gospel to the Acts 1: 8, especially for the shepherd of his ministry less than 7 years. Thirdly, it is necessary for the Shepherd of the Church Enhanced understanding the Jakarta Conference Area in the Context of Cross-Cultural Mission Preaching of the Gospel to the Acts 1: 8, especially for pastors who have not been anointed. Fourth, increase the understanding also needs to be given to members of the church bus in the form of personal evangelism, KKR, free medical care, or social action Gospel and pioneered the church as a place of teaching for at Conference Jakarta Area in the Context of Mission Preaching the Gospel of the Cross-Cultural against Acts 1: 8. The implication of this study is the first, the role of pastor in the conference DKI Jakarta Area based on Acts 1: 8 in overcoming problems of the existence of differences in ethnicity and culture in a church is not only a duty and responsibility to the pastor of the church but the church members also participated actively in engagement interpreters in full, raises the possibility of differences in interpretation of the results, which are caused by the background and presuppositions of the interpreter. Second, evangelism is not to be confused with the mission, its better if we maintain the specificity of evangelization in the mission of the larger church. In the context of the mission should be understood as the mission of the church by Jesus Christ, the Savior, to carry out his command for the glory of God's name. Third, the interpretation and understanding of biblical truth to a pastor becomes crucial in determining the direction of programs and actions of the church and the church, and a fourth, cross-cultural preaching of the Gospel can be a reference for understanding the churches in Acts 1: 8 as appropriate.
