ABSTRACT INFLUENCE OF BUDGETING TOWARD MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE IN PT ULTRAJAYA MILK INDUSTRY & TRADING CO. TBK. Calvin Paindoan NIM: 1532039 The purpose of this study was to know the influence of budgeting toward management performance in PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Co. Tbk. The method used in this study was survey method. The researcher processed the data by doing Pearson’s coefficient correlation analysis, coefficient determination analysis, and hypothesis significant test. Based on the results of the study, they were found that the respondents are very agreed to the budgeting system in the company with averaged score of the respondents’ answers as 4.39. And then the respondents stated the averaged result of 3.98 for management performance, which interpreted as agreed. When seen on the influence of budgeting toward management performance, Pearson’s coefficient correlation analysis stated R = 0.812 that interpreted as the existence of positive and very strong significance, which means that budgeting was very positively influencing to advance management’s performance. And then from coefficient determination valued at 65.9% that signaled budgeting gave influence of 65.9% toward management performance as a whole, while the rest valued 34.1% were other influential contribution which this study doesn’t cover. And then t-test for hypothesis testing stated that budgeting significantly influenced toward management’s performance by the result of t-count > t-table (7.361 > 1.701) Keywords: Budgeting, management’s performance.
