ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF TOTAL ASSET TURNOVER AND EARNING PER SHARE ON THE FIRM VALUE IN TRADING SECTOR COMPANIES LISTED ON THE INDONESIAN STOCK EXCHANGE IN 2017 Written by: FINNY APRILLIONITA MANDANG NIM: 1532004 This study aims to examine the effect of total asset turnover (TATO) and earnings per share (EPS) on firm value. In this study the firm value is calculated using price No FE: 3057/S/A/FE/UNAI/19 to book value (PBV). The method used for sampling is purposive sampling. The number of samples used in this study were 39 out of 62 companies that registered in the trade sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017. The data analysis technique used in the study is simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, classic assumption test and significance test both partially and simultaneously. The results of this study indicate that total asset turnover and earnings per share have a significant effect on firm value. Partially only earnings per share has a significant effect on firm value, while total asset turnover has no significant effect. Key words: Total Asset Turnover, Earning per Share and Firm Value
