ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF THE CAPITAL STRUCTURE ON VALUE OF FIRM IN FOODS AND BEVERAGES SUBSECTOR COMPANIES LISTED IN IDX PERIOD 2014 - 2017 Written by: Andrian Silalahi NIM: 1532025 The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Capital Structure on Value of Firm on foods and beverages sub-sector companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange 2014-2017. The method used in this study is descriptive method using Debt to Equity Ratio, Price Earning Ratio, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation test, significance test, determination test, linear regression analysis. The results showed a significant influence and negative between Debt to Equity Ratio on Value of Firm which can be seen from the significance value of 0.735 <0.05 so that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected.
