ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF THE RUPIAH EXCHANGE RATE ON PRODUCTION COSTS Written by: Uria Berawati NIM: 1232225 The purpose of this study was to describe the rupiah exchange rate and production costs and to find out the influence of the rupiah exchange rate on production costs. The variable in this study is the rupiah exchange rate as the independent variabel and production cost as the dependent variable. The sample that the researcher took was the financial report of the Tahu Barokah Factory. Data is obtained from the cost report of purchasing soybean raw materials. The research uses descriptive analysis and verification analysis. The result of the study indicate that development of the rupiah exchange rate during the 2013-2017 period tended to increase and the development of production costs at the Tahu Barokah Factory during the period 2013-2017 also tended to increase. The rupiah exchange rate has a significant effect on production costs of 72% while the remaining100% - 72,2% is the influence of other variables not examined.
