ABSTRACT THE IMPACT OF THE WORK ENVIRONMENT TOWARDS THE WORK PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES IN UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA By: Zachova Virgillio Zebedeus The purpose of this research was to know what the Work Environment was like both physically and non-physically, to know about the employees work performance and to know the impact of the work environment towards the work performance of employees in Universitas Advent Indonesia located in Jl. Kolonel Masturi No. 288, Bandung, West Java 40559. The research was conducted using the descriptive method, in which data was obtained by collecting and then analyzing to present a description about the research object. The collected data was analyzed by using a linear regression analysis, Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient analysis, significance test, and coefficient of determination analysis in order to obtain a conclusion. Validated questionnaires were given to the lecturers of the Faculty of Economics and several Business Office employees in Universitas Advent Indonesia.The result shows that the work environment had a low correlation of 0.390 towards the work environment. The work environment impacted the work performance as much as 15%. Key words: air circulation, lighting, temperature, sound, space, relationships, peers, superiors, motivation, job security
