ABSTRACT COMPENSATION EFFECT ON THE JOB SATISFACTION EMPLOYEES PT. ULTRAJAYA MILK INDUSTRY & TRADING COMPANY,Tbk. Writter by: Imelda Enjel Sihotang NIM : 1331001 This study, entitled "Effect of Compensation on Employee Satisfaction at PT. Ultra Jaya Tbk ". The aimed of this study was to determine the effect of compensation and employee satisfaction as well as to determine the effect compensation on employee job satisfaction. This research was conducted using a descriptive method research methods discussed, describing the data examined, the analyzed data and facts obtained from the results of the study and then do a comparison with the theory that ultimately can be drawn to a conclusion. This study also uses SPSS software to assist in processing the data that has been collected from the administration of questionnaires to PT. Ultra Jaya. Based on the survey results revealed that the correlation coefficient indicates a low compensation linked to job satisfaction of employees with R = 0.390. Test results of significance known that t-test (2.44)> t-table (1701), it gives the sense that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It means that there is significant influence between compensation on employee job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination shows that the contribution of compensation in influencing job satisfaction of employees is 15.2%. Keys Words: Compensation, Employees Job Satisfaction
