ABSTRACT EFFECT OF MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE PRODUCTIVITY IN PT. SANTOS JAYA ABADI, JAKARTA By Yanti Sitinjak NIM: 1131014 The purpose of this study was to determine how the work motivation at PT. Santos Jaya Abadi, knowing how the productivity of employees at PT. Santos Jaya Abadi, and knowing how much work motivation can affect the productivity of employees at PT.Santos Jaya Abadi. The study was conducted with descriptive method, where data were collected based on the real situation, processed, analyzed, so as to give a fairly clear picture of the object under study was then drawn to a conclusion. Data were collected through questionnaires. The data analyzed using correlation coefficient analysis, significance testing, hypothesis testing, and analysis of the coefficient of determination. Based on the survey results revealed that motivation affected the productivity of employees at PT. Santos Jaya Abadi. By providing seminars, training both from outside and from within the company itself. Provided rewards / awards, and also with outings (gathering). Work motivation owned by employees declared effective and runs well. The factors that affected employees motivation were the work itself, the company (internal) and external (outside the office problems). Based on calculations it was known that the correlation coefficient was equal to 0.618 means that the influence between variables X and Y variables were very strong or influence on the productivity of employees' work motivation was very strong influence. Based on the hypothesis test showed that t_ (count)> t_tabel then H0 is rejected, which means that there was a positive and significant relationship between work motivation and productivity of employees. Based on the analysis of the coefficient of determination was known Kd = 38,1% showed changes in employee productivity, influenced by employee motivation and the balance of 61,9% was influenced by other factors.
