ABSTRACT INFLUENCE OF THE COMPENSATION OF THE EMPLOYEE PRODUCTIVITY INDONESIA PUBLISHING HOUSE By: Desy Rubiyanti The study is entitled "The effect of compensation on employee productivity in the Indonesia Publishing Houseā€. This research is about compensation and employee productivity. This research is aimed to find the effect of compensation on employee productivity. The research method used in this study is descriptive method. Descriptive method is a method of research that discusses, describes, examines and analyse data used in a study by comparing it with existing theory and research. The research data revealed that compensation had very little effect on employee productivity through the result of the correlation coefficients of R = 0,319. The significance test results shows that the t count (1,844) > t tabel (1,697), meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that there's significant influence relationship between compensation and employee productivity. The coefficient determination equals to 10.20%, which is the total contribution of compensation towards change in employee productivity.
