ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF OPERATING PROFIT ON FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE PT. SARANACENTRAL BAJATAMA Tbk By Stefanus Ade Elsafan Hermawan The purpose of this study was to determine how the operating profit growth and how economic performance and how the influence operating profit to financial performance PT. Saranacentral Bajatama Tbk. In this study, the author uses descriptive method, that is by collecting data so as to generate the information needed to analyze the problem. The author uses the quarterly financial statement period 2011-2014 PT. Saranacentral Bajatama Tbk in data processing. Measurement scale used is the average of the industry / industrial average gained from csi market and using Pearson Product Moment correlation, coefficient of determination and analysis of statistical tests using the t test with α = 0.05. Based on the research that has been done, it is known that the growth in operating profit at PT. Saranacentral Bajatama Tbk can be said to be stable and well. While the total asset turn over PT. Saranacentral Bajatama Tbk can be said to be less good because it is below the average industry peers based csi market. Based on statistical analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient formula, the obtained results of correlation coefficient of r = 0,110, which gives an indication of the low operating profit effect on the financial performance. Hipothesis testing conducted showed that tcounted < ttable, which is - 110 < 1,761, then it can be concluded that H0 accepted and Ha was rejected which means the existena negative relationship but not significant. The magnitude of the effect of growth in operating profit on financial performance only by 12% and remaining 88% is influenced by other factors out of the study.
