ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF SOLVABILITY ON PROFITABILITY AT PT. TELKOM, Tbk Written By: Alfreddy Nixon Franklin Hasudungan Sinaga ID:1031018 The purpose of this research was to determine how the solvability and profitability was and to determine the influence of solvability on profitability at PT.Telkom, Tbk. In this research, the author used descriptive method, which collecting datas to produce the information needed for problem analysis. Author used annual financial statement of PT. Telkom, Tbk for the 2010-2015 period for data processing. Based on research’s result, it was known that solvability at PT. Telkom, Tbk categorized as stable. While the profitability at PT. Telkom, Tbk was categorized as above industrial average. Based on statistical analysis using Pearson Product Momment correlation coefficient formula, the obtained result of correlation coefficient or r = 0,20 which indicates that the relation between solvability and profitability was weak. From Hypothesis testing conducted showed that , sig > α (0,704 > 0,05) ,so it can be concluded that H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected that means there was no significant relation between the two variables. The magnitude of the effect solvability on profitability was only 4% and the remaining 96% was influenced by other factors out of the research. Keywords : Solvability, Profitability
