ABSTRACT THE IMPACT OF PROFITABILITY TOWARDS FIRM VALUE IN PT. ULTRAJAYA MILK INDUSTRY, TBK Written by: Pearly NIM: 1331017 This study aimed to determine how the influence of profitability to the firm value. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The research variables were profitability and firm value. The data used are secondary data from the financial statements PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry, Tbk year 2010-2014.The analysis was correlation coefficient analysis, significance test, linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination. The population used in this study was a PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry, Tbk with sample financial statements PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry, Tbk Based on the results of the statistical analysis conducted by the authors, the correlation coefficient profitability on firm value there was a low relationship between profitability and firm value seen from the value (r) = 0.323. From the hypothesis testing seen significant value on 0.591, which means that profitability effect on firm value. Based on the statistical analysis known linear regression equation Y = 2.365+ (14,304) X which means that any increase in profitability 1, then the firm value increase by 14,304.
