ABSTRACT Thesis Title : THEOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE ROLE OF THE PASTOR IN PROMOTING DOMESTIC HAPPINESS CONGREGATION MEMBER SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH CONFERENCES JAKARTA AND SURROUNDINGS ACCORDING TO MATTHEW 5: 13,14 IN REGION 7 Researcher Name: Sendi Marbun Name and Title : M.Fil. Supervisor : Dr. B.D. Nainggolan, MPS End Date : May 22, 2016 Call to call a pastor is a glorious, holy to call a priest. Becoming a minister demanded a thorough submission. Jobs became pastor in contrast to the work of people based on their abilities. Based on the words of Jesus in the book of Matthew 5: 13-14, that same mysterious life like salt and light that have functions that are affecting more people. A light to enlighten everyone in the congregation pastored.The success of a pastor in the pastorate is determined how a pastor to turn the call. Being a pastor is not an easy job, family life cannot be separated with the priest in the church ministry. The success of a pastor greatly influenced the role of the pastor's wife and children. How can a pastor's wife played a role in the church often determines the length of a pastor serving one congregation. The author is interested in conducting research on the role of the clergy in promoting domestic happiness congregation Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference in Jakarta and surrounding areas 7. The author considers the concerns of the church service the pastor unsatisfactory. Respondents surveyed by the author is the congregation Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference in Jakarta and surrounding areas 7, consists of 5 churches. The author took respondents approximately 40% of the 570 members of the church that is 228 people. Through this study the authors conducted a survey to members of the congregation Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference DKI Jakarta Area in Region 7, about the role of pastor role in promoting domestic happiness church members. The writer wanted to know how the assessment of the influence of the church on the role of the clergy in the church. Theological analysis in this study were divided into three parts: First: The Role In Increasing Happiness Reverend Members of the Church Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and surrounding areas in Region 7 According to Matthew 5: 13,14, through the influence of Reverend in behavior. Second: The Role In Increasing Happiness Reverend Members of the Church Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and surrounding areas in Region 7 According to Matthew 5: 13,14, through the effect of Household preacher. Third: Analysis Role In Increasing Happiness Reverend Members of the Church Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and surrounding areas in Region 7 According to Matthew 5: 13,14, through the influence of Reverend project. The methodology of this study is the first, Collecting Data Library, and the Field Data Collection. Variables that were taken are 4, namely X1, X2, X3 and Y. X1, is about the influence of Reverend in behavior. X2 is the effect of the Household preacher. X3 is the effect of the task and the last Y is Becoming a pastor as salt and light in the household the members of the church based on Matthew 5: 13,14. The number of respondents who have already filled out a questionnaire on the study of 203 people. Requirements for data analysis was conducted by the research methods are predefined such as validity, reliability test, test, linearity test, test, test and descriptive statistics. In conclusion, this is the first, on average respondents from Cawang church has the best answer about the role of the clergy in promoting domestic happiness of the Church Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and its surroundings according to Matthew 5: 13,14 in the region of 7, with a total score of 3.96. Second, the above results indicate that the average respondent male sex has the best answer about the role of the clergy in promoting domestic happiness of the Church Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and its surroundings according to Matthew 5: 13,14 in the region of 7, with a total score of 3.87. Third, respondents with an average duration of 6-10 years members of the Seventh-day Adventists on the role of the pastor in promoting domestic happiness of the Church Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and its surroundings according to Matthew 5: 13,14 in the region of 7, with a total score of 4:06. Fourth, the average educated respondents Masters have the best answer about the role of the clergy in promoting domestic happiness of the Church Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and its surroundings according to Matthew 5: 13,14 in the region of 7, with a total score of 3.85. Fifth, the average of respondents aged 66 years and over have the best answer about the role of the clergy in promoting domestic happiness of the Church Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and its surroundings according to Matthew 5: 13,14 in the region of 7, with a total score of 4:21. Sixth, by hypothesis, Pastor Influence in Behavior, Effect of Household preacher and influence in the project to increase the happiness of the household members of the Church of Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and its surroundings according to Matthew 5: 13,14 in the region of 7 to 88.1%. This means that there is a relationship between the effect of the behavior Pastor, Reverend effect in Households and influence in the project to improve the happiness of the household of the Church Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and its surroundings according to Matthew 5: 13,14 in the region of 7. Suggestions in this study is the first to be held seminars, KKR, or KPA to members of the Church of Seventh-day Adventist Church Conference Jakarta and its surrounding areas so that they better understand the role of the clergy in promoting domestic happiness according to Matthew 5: 13,14 in the region of 7, especially for members of the congregation were female sex, aged under 66 years and a member of the congregation who had high school. Second, the need to hold a seminar to pastors in increasing knowledge and understanding of the household in a deeper understanding of the construction of the new family in the church. Third, the young pastor in the start of his ministry to have a thorough consideration in choosing a life partner to complete the task of priests in the ministry. Fourth, this study can be extended by adding independent variable or variables are bound to improve the quality of the research and to add suggestions and feedback given. The implications of this study is the first, the pastor received a warning in his duties as the saying of Christ, the shepherd leader, has entrusted the care of the flock to His ministers as pastors subordinates; He charged that they have the same concerns as reflected his, and feel the sacred responsibility which has been entrusted by Him, to them. Third, the life of the Reverend is a highlight of the members of the church where the priest served as pastor, spiritual adviser in the spiritual growth of the church. Pastor is advisory in household members of the congregation. Members hope that the ministers who rule them are pastors who are willing to provide solutions of any problems they are experiencing in their household. Fourth, the pastor who was young and inexperienced in the household often becomes an obstacle to church members to convey problems in their families.
