ABSTRACT THE EFFECTS OF FIXED ASSETS INVESMENT PROFITABILITY IIN PT. ASIA PASIFIC FIBERS Tbk. KARAWANG Written By: Dedy Tua Sianturi NIM: 1132192 The purpose of this research was conducted to find out how fixed assets invesments profitability exists, and to know the influence of fixed assets investment profitability on PT.Asia Pasific Fibers Tbk KARWANG. Int his research the methods of descriptive method is performed, where data are obtained by collecting, analyzing, and presenting data as well as give an overview about the research object to generate a conclusion. While the technical processing of data using statistical analysis, the analysis of the correlation, and to find out whether the hypothesis is accepted or rejected by using test hypothesis t. Based on the result of research investment fixed assets on PT. Asia Pasific Fibers Tbk. From 2010-2014 are as follows: Rp 609.059.231.689, Rp 432.109.509.224, Rp 317.259.286.203, Rp 163.629.212.208, Rp 245.315.328.626. And its profitability as follows: 14.23%, 10.18%, -5.25%, -16.11%, -39.44%. Based on the result of the statistical analysis that has been done, the authors note the correlation coeffiecient r = 0.793063379, this means the presence of a high influence between the variable X (INVESTMENT FIXED ASSETS) and the variable Y (PROFITABILITY). The magnitude of the coefficient of Determination = 62. 89% whereas 99.37% are caused by factors other than this research. Test the hypothesis thitung = 3.702 and ttabel = 2.353 then thitung > ttabel there are significant effects between fixed assets investment and profitability and Ha is received. Thust it can be said that investment in fixed assets has a strong role in influencing the profitability of the company at PT. Asia Pasific Fibers Tbk. Key word: fixed Asset, Profitability, Investment
