ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND JUST IN TIME TO QUALITY PERFORMANCE IN PT GRAHA FORTUNA PURNAMA By: Andrew Geraldy Yosef Hasiholan NIM: 1232010 The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of Total Quality Management and Just in Time to quality performance in PT Graha Fortuna Purnama. The author used descriptive method in this research, in the form of data collection in order to produce the information needed to analyze the problem. The author also conducted interviews and gave a number of questionaires filled out by the respondents. Measurement scale used was Likert scale using Pearson Coefficient Correlation determination coefficient analysis, and , multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis test using the F test and t test with α = 0,05. Based on the research results, it was known that Total Quality Management and Just in Time in PT Graha Fortuna Purnama have been implemented well, but quality performance in this research benchmarking and cycle time has not been implemented well. Based on statistical analysis the coefficient result = 0,648, which means a moderate relationship between Total Quality Management and Just in Time on quality performance in PT Graha Fortuna Purnama. Based on the hypothesis test based on F test, there was significant relationship between Total Quality Management and Just in Time to quality performance with the value p = 0,036 < 0,05, and F count > F table, with that explanation show that Ha was accepted and Ho rejected. The amount of the Total Quality Management and Just in Time to quality performance amounted to 46,8% and the rest was come from the other variables which not included in this research Keyword: Total Quality Management, Just in Time, quality performance
