ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION IN BREVET TAXS’ TRAINING AT UNIVERSITY CHRISTIAN BANDUNG Written by: Melda Febronika Simatupang NIM : 1232202 The purpose of this study was to determine how the motivation and interest of the students to follow a brevet tax’s training at the Christian University in Bandung which were consist of three universities, such as of the University Advent Indonesia (UNAI), Universitas Kristen Maranatha and Universitas Katolik Parahyangan. This study used quantitative research and descriptive methods, with the data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires and used the likert scale. Interviews were conducted to the students at the Christian Universities in Bandung and the questioners were distributed to 141 students which follow the tax seminars class. The determinations were performed while using proportional claster random sampling. The results of this study was the students were motivated to follow the brevet tax training as the preparation for the world of work and the students were realized the importance of the brevet tax’s training. There was an influence of the student’s motivation to the brevet tax training, the result was 92%. It is shown from r = 0.927 and t count = 1.962, t table = 1.656. This has shown that t count > t table that was 1.962> 1.656. Ho rejected and Ha accepted, this has shown that there was a significant influence between the student’s motivations towards the brevet tax training. At the University Advent Indonesia there was a weak correlation (39.2%), at the University Katolik Parahyangan there was a strong correlation (60%) and at the University Kristen Maranatha there was a weak correlation (33%).
