ABSTRACT Thesis Title : ANALYSIS ANDUNDERSTANDING OF SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH MEMBERS IN PALU DISTRICT ABOUT THE ROLE OF PASTOR’S WIFE IN MINISTRY BASED ON GENESIS 2:18. WHICH SAYS: AND THE LORD GOD SAID: “IT IS NOT GOOD THAT THE MAN SHOULD BE ALONE. Nainggolan, MPS End date : April 26, 2016 This thesis begins with the presentation of the background issues regarding the understanding and application of the member Seventh-day Adventist Church members in the district of Palu city about the role of pastor's wife in the service based on the Bible especially on the book of Genesis 2:18 which says: And The Lord God said “It is not good thet the man should be alone. I will make him an help meet for him”. This research was conducted in the environment of the church members in four churches in the city of Palu, with the number of participants as many as 109 people. the method that researcher used in this research is quantitative methods and data collection tools used in the form of a questionnaire to measure the variable understanding and application of the Church members about the role of Pastor's wife in the service based on Genesis 2:18 with a scale of 1-5 This research aims to find out how high the level of understanding and application of the church members about the minister's wife's role in the ministry as well as the influence to the services and Church growth in the city of Palu, central Sulawesi. Research results through testing that has been done shows that there is a positive influence between the competence of understanding and application of church members in the city of Palu against the quality of service of the minister's wife with an average score of 4.26 indicating that almost all respondents agreed to increase its service from wife pastor in accordance with the biblical concept of Genesis 2:18 based on the results of this study are expected the Church organization will have pastor's wives that are really dedicated in ministry with their husband who is a pastor so that can bring more blessings to the people who are served and bring glory to the name of the Lord.
