ABSTRACT Thesis Title : THE THEOLOGI OF ANALYSIS AND UNDERSTANDING TO APPLICATION ABOUT EVANGELISM OF LAITY TO THE EFFECT ON THE GROWTH OF SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH IN DISTRICT OF PALU, CENTRAL SULAWESI REGIONAL MISSION OF THE GOSPEL OF MARK 16:15 "GO INTO ALL THE WORLD, AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERY CREATURE." Completion Date : March 18, 2015 This thesis begins with background on problems regarding the understanding and application of the church members about the influence of evangelical laity to the growth of the church in Palu district is based on the gospel of Mark 16:15, "Go ye into all the world,and preach the gospel to every creature." This research was conducted within the member at four churches in Palu town the number of participants as many as 141 people. The method used in this research is quantitative research and data collection tools used in the form of a questionnaire to measure the variable understanding and application of the influence of evangelical church members lay on the growth of the church that is based on the gospel of Mark 16:15 with a scale of 1-5 choice answers. This study aims to: Knowing how high the level of understanding and application of the members of the church to the ministry of evangelism that is based on the Gospel of Mark 16:15 and the effect on the growth of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Palu district. Research results through testing that has been done shows that there is a positive influence between the competence of the understanding and application of the quality of evangelism in the city of Palu with an average score (All Total Mean) at 4:44, meaning that the average respondent agree with the understanding and application of the command of Jesus in the gospel of Mark 16:15. Based on the results of this study are expected church will produce church members who have the quality of life of spiritual and theological knowledge of good that will ultimately become missionary persons and engage directly in the mission of God.
