PENGARUH BASIC EARNING POWER TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PADA SUB SEKTOR TELEKOMUNIKASI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

ABSTRACT This study aims to test and provide empirical evidence about the effect of basic earnings on stock prices. This research is motivated by the fact that basic earning power is one of the factors that determine the increase or decrease in stock prices. The research method used is an empirical method with a descriptive and verification approach, because there are variables that will be explained and analyzed how much influence of these variables. Data collection was carried out through secondary data collection obtained from communication companies. Analysis of statistical data using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that basic earning power had a significant effect on stock prices. The higher the basic earning power, the higher the value of stock prices, the magnitude of the effect of basic earning power on stock prices is 44.9%, while the remaining 100% - 44.9% = 55.1% is the influence of other variables not examined.
