ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF INTERNAL AUDIT INI GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AT PT. BANK RAKYAT INDONESIA Tbk . Written By: Vivi Evangeline Silalahi 1232108 This study aimed to know the effect of Internal Audit to Good Corporate Governance at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. The method in the research was descriptive method. Data questionnaires processed statistically with Rank Spearman, Correlation Coefficient, and Coefficient of Determination Test Hypothesis using SPSS 16. Based on the result it was known that the internal audit has been well conducted in the PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia in accordance with the established standard operating procedures. The result also shown that the implementation of Good Corporate Governance in the PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia had been well conducted in accordance with regulations at the company. Based on the result, statistical analysis shown that there was a significant effect between the internal audit and good corporate governance at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. It can be seen from the value of the Rank Spearman coefficient correlation of r = 0,561 and the significant test result between the two variables at  = 0,000 at α = 0,05 and also can be seen at tcount > ttable is 4,268> 1.734, which means Ha was accepted: there was a significant effect on the Internal Audit between good corporate governance at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. And the coefficient of determination of 70,9% which means internal audit and good corporate governance was affected by the percentage of 70,9% and 29,1% were influenced by other factors than the study.
