ABSTRACT INFLUENCE OF BUDGET PARTICIPATION ON MANAGERIAL PERFORMANCE AT PT MINNA PADI RESORT -THE SANTAI BALI Written By: Kimberley Monica Pungus NIM: 1232055 In this research, the researcher took the title “INFLUENCE OF BUDGET PARTICIPATION ON MANAGERIAL PERFORMANCE AT PT MINNA PADI RESORT -THE SANTAI BALI”. The purpose of the research by the researcher was determine whether there was a significant relationship between budget participation and managerial performance. The variables studied include the variable of budget participation as the independent variable and variable managerial performance as the dependent variable. This study used a descriptive research method, with the technique of the questionnaires given to 14 passengers of PT Minna Padi Resort-The Santai Bali. To process the data obtained from the company, the researcher used statistical methods for processing data using formulas and statistical software SPSS. The result showed the result of correlation coefficients of Pearson’s Coeficient Corelation obtained for r=0,537, this result suggested that there was a significant relationship between budget participation and managerial performance .based on the significant column degrees of freedom (n-2) with =0,05, t count> t table (2.208>1,782). Therefore H0 was rejected and Ha accepted, in which there were a positive relationship beetwen budget participation and managerial performance, can be accepted. Based in these result, the researcher suggested the company to improve on some things in their budget participation. Their budget especially in the case of investigations into corporate data .Other thing that researcher could suggested company was paying close attention and supervision of the manager’s involvement in the budgeting process.
