ABSTRACT EFFECT OF AUDIT QUALITY AND TOTAL CASH DIVIDENDS ON SHARE PRICE ON BANKING COMPANIES IN INDONESIA Written by: Gideon Unedo Hottua NIM: 123145 This study aimed to test whether the quality of the audit and the total cash dividends had a significant ability to predict the value of the company stock price on the banking industry in Indonesia. This study used discretionary accruals as a measure to calculate the value of quality audit as independent variables and the total cash dividends on the financial statements taken as a further independent variable, and stock prices were taken from IDX being the dependent variable. The population in this study was the entire banking industry company on period 2004 - 2014 listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The procedure of sample selection using purposive sampling method and number of samples obtained by 20 companies. The analysis used in this research include descriptive statistical analysis, the classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, coefficient determination, and hypothesis testing using t test and F test α = 0.05. From the results of hypothesis testing seen significant value to the variable quality of the audit amounted to 0.451 and the variable cash dividend of 0.000 and this shown that the first variable no significant effect on the value of the stock price, and the second variable significant effect on stock prices. F test results showed that both independent variables jointly have the ability to significantly predict the value of the stock price.
