ABSTRACT Thesis Title : THEOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF ECONOMIC FACTORS AND EDUCATION TOWARDS HARMONY AND FAMILY COMMITMENTS IN THE GROWTH OF THE CHURCH IS BASED ON THE BOOK OF PROVERBS 16: 8 IN THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS 8 DKI JAKARTA CONFERENCE Researcher Name: Menara Pandiangan Name and Title : M.Fil Supervisor : Dr. B.D. Nainggolan, MPS End Date : 31 May 2016 This thesis begins with background exposure problems regarding the analysis of the influence of economic factors and education towards harmony and family commitments in the growth of the church is based on the book of Proverbs 16: 8. In this study raised three issues: First, How high the level of understanding of the church members in the region of 8 in Conference Jakarta and surrounding the family harmony? Second, economic factors and education Does your husband or wife affect family harmony as well as affecting service commitment to the growth of the church? Third, there a biblical basis supporting family harmony is strongly influenced by economic factors and education? This research was conducted in Region 8 Conference Jakarta Area, which consists of: Church of Orchids, the Church of Tanjung Priok, the Church Warakas, the Church Nyiur Waving, Church of Muara Bahari, the Church of Kelapa Gading Barat, Church of Sungai Bambu, the Church of Garuda, the Church of Kelapa Gading, Taman Nyiur congregation, and the congregation Pulomas. Eleventh church in its service area of Jakarta Area Conference, which united into a Region 8 of 19 Regional consists of 167 churches and 21 branch Sabbath School and Worship Society. The number of church members in Region 8 is 880 people. The method used in this research is quantitative survey that tests conducted using quantitative statistical test methods, among others, validity, reliability, normality test, liniearitas, hypothesis testing and test descriptive statistics. Data collection tool was a questionnaire transform and measure variable "Influence of Economic Factors And Education And Commitment To Harmony Family In The Church Growth Based on Proverbs 16: 8" with a selection of answers scale 1 - 5. There are so many families who do not have harmony in the family, there families with low education and income were mediocre but had a harmonious family, while the family also found that low education, a mediocre income households but not harmonious. Economic and educational problems of the husband or wife in the family in addition to many other problems. Based on observations and experience of the author and also information made by many institutions that deal with family problems found that the main problems that lead to divorce in the household is the economic problem. Common causes of problems in the family because of factors level of education and family income. The purpose of this study is as follows: For the biblical concept of the influence of economic factors and education towards harmony and family commitments based on Proverbs 16: 8 and the corresponding paragraph. To give a correct analysis of harmony and family commitments in the growth of the church, especially in the organization of Seventh-day Adventist Church (Seventh-day Adventists) in region 8 Conference Jakarta Area. Statistical analysis using ANOVA. The analysis is required to determine whether the analysis of data for testing can be continued or not. Several data analysis techniques demanding test requirements analysis. Analysis of variance requires that the data came from a normal distributed population and groups than homogeneous. Therefore, analysis of variance requires the validity, reliability, normality, linearity, hypothesis and descriptive statistics. The number of respondents who had filled out questionnaires from No. 1-20 items as many as 357 people.
