ABSTRACT MAINTENANCE METHODS SHEPHERD THE CHURCH IN DEVELOPING AND MANTAINING MEMBER OF THE SDA PUDANGMAS ON JOHN 21:15-19. Lusio Dias Fernandes NIM: 1111033 The Seventh-day Adventist Church of Purwokerto, Kalikidang, and Banyumas (PUDANGMAS) Java Regional Central Area have long been grazed and maintained by several pastors, but its members do not feel the service is good pastor, thus making them move church to another or entry to another church. Thus the known background that the pastoral ministry in the Church maintains PUDANGMAS clearly less than the maximum. Therefore, as the problem in this thesis is as berikur: 1. How to shepherding by phileo? Grazing needs to be done by phileo, among others: (a) the need to shepherd Shepherd members through the love of friendship, so members may bercurhat about the problems they face. (b) shall shepherd Shepherd members by considering his own family members are. 2. How to shepherding by agapao? Grazing needs to be done by agapao among others: (a) shall shepherd Shepherd members regardless of their actions. (b) be loving Shepherd members without demanding a reply porpose or affection from members. 3. How do the characteristics of a good shepherd? The characteristics of a good shepherd, among others: (a) The good shepherd willing to sacrifice for the sheep. (B) the good shepherd, feed the flock in accordance with the needs of his sheep. 4. How does an understanding of the pastors of the church PUDANGMAS in maintaining the church members based (Jn. 21: 15-19)? Shepherd is often called the custodian, and therefore the church PUDANGMAS understand that, which meant shepherd means preserver or protector of his flock. So the good shepherd must provide maintenance services to the well again. The results of field research conducted by dividing the questioner that distributed to the Church of Seventh-day Adventists PUDANGMAS, Central Java Central Region is known that on average the respondents strongly agreed with statements questioner, because they agree when shepherds memeihara accordance with statements questioner. As a suggestion through this study are as follows: (a) Pastoral through phileo love is the basis of the service the pastor. (b) Pastoral by the agape love should be foremost in service to members in pastored. (c) The shepherd must graze through family members. Keywords: Shepherding, Maintain, love.
