ANALISIS TEOLOGI “TUHAN MENGERASKAN HATI FIRAUN” BERDASARKAN KELUARAN 4:21 DI GMAHK JEMAAT INDONESIA PUBLISHING HOUSE (IPH) BANDUNG
XMLABSTRACT THE THEOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF “GOD HARDENED PHARAOH'S HEART” BASED ON EXODUS 4:21 IN THE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH OF INDONESIA PUBLISHING HOUSE (IPH) BANDUNG Suardi Pasuluh NIM: 1011012 This study was conducted to analyze theologically the meaning in the Bible and examine the understanding of the church regarding "God hardened Pharaoh's heart" based on the book of Exodus 4:21. Many believed their destiny have been predestined by God some to eternity while others to damnation. For this reason many people believed that God has predetesmined all te. Affairs of human life where some have been partially hardened, while other’s are softened. This research to make an effort to find out the real answer. There are several indicators in the research to find the answers such as the theological meaning of the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart based on Exodus 4:21 and the purpose of the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart. Next, the Theology of Pharaoh hardened his own heart through his own actions and attitudes towards the rebuke that came from God. Furthermore the research will give the meaning of the Theological hardening of the heart and predestination. The purpose of the research is find out the understanding of the church members of IPH Seventh-day Adventists church regarding "God hardened Pharaoh's heart" based on the book of Exodus 4:21, and how the church views on the fate and hardening of the heart. Method of research pursued in this paper is by using Technique Data Collection through the distribution of questionnaires to the church, Process Validation, Data Collection Field, Place and Time Research, Research and Data Analysis Methods. Results and Discussion: The meaning of the Theology God hardened Pharaoh's heart is the power and miracles of God which made Pharaoh hardened his heart by refusing God’s grace. It’s purpose to save the Israelites from Pharaoh's oppression and to show His power and declared the court of judgment. The meaning of the Theology Pharaoh hardening his heart is the action itself against judgment of God because of the miracles and the power declared by the Lord. Pharaoh who saw the direct action of God and rejected all the warnings to repent. God has extended His grace to Pharaoh, but he did not take the grace. Theology of destiny and hardening of the heart. Destiny is the provision from the beginning to the end that cannot be changed. The Bible simply states the plan of God in Jesus Christ by providing the freedom of choice to every human being and everyone has to accept or reject His grace. But the concept of the Bible concerning one’s basic to God is given through the life of the Apostle Paul. The hardening of the heart is the result of a rejection of grace continuously.
