ABSTRACT THE ROLE OF INTERNAL CONTROL IN SUPPORT OF OPERATIONAL COST EFFICIENCY IN THE PT. KERETA API INDONESIA (PERSERO) BANDUNG Written by: Finni Juliani Siagian NIM: 1332086 This research was aimed to find the predictors of the role internal control in support of operational cost efficiency in the PT. Kereta Api Indonesian (Persero) Bandung. The method used on this research was descriptive statistical analysis, analysis of the correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination analysis, and stepwise regression. From the analysis of correlation coefficient the role of internal control in support of operational cost efficiency was (r) = 0,629, which means the role of internal control have the strong and significance relationship of operational cost efficiency. The results of the test the coefficient of determination was 54,6%, with means that the role of internal control contributed 54,6% and remaining 45,4% was influenced by other factors outside of this research.
