ABSTRACT THE ROLE OF OPERATIONAL AUDIT IN PRODUCTION QUALITY CONTROL EFFORTS IN PT. ULTRAJAYA MILK INDUSTRY TBK. Erick Othniel Herdyanto Rotama NIM: 1332035 The writer conducted research at PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry Tbk, intended to determine how the implementation of operational audit was carried out, the production quality control efforts and the role of operational audit in production quality control efforts. The method used in this study was descriptive, that data collected based on real circumstances or the condition of the company. In collecting the data, the author used methods interviewing and send out the questionnaires. Based on statistical calculations, correlation coefficient analysis (rs) equal to 0.922 which indicated that the relationship of operational audit in an effort to control the quality production was very strong. By using a statistical test (t) obtained tcount > ttable was 10,139 > 1,734 so the statement Ho was rejected, which means that operational audit had a role in a production quality control efforts. Based on the calculation of determination, the percentage of 85,10% of production quality control efforts was determined by operational audit while the remaining 14,90% was percentage of other factor outside the study.
