XMLABSTRACK PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA KARYAWAN PADA UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA Oleh: Hense Rando Perangin-angin The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of leadership on employee motivation at the Adventist University of Indonesia. The variables used were variable X's leadership as the independent variable and the variable Y employee motivation as the dependent variable. The method used in this study is descriptive, ie by collecting data so that the company can produce the information needed to analyze the problem. data processing, research using statistical analysis, the correlation coefficient analysis, statistical test with t test with α = 0.05 coefficient of determination, as well as regression analysis. Based on the results of statistical analysis using the correlation coefficient formula, the obtained results of correlation r = 0.018 which indicates that the low contribution of leadership on employee motivation. From the results of significance test found that t count < ttable (0.095 < 1.701), then Ho is accepted Ho is rejected, meaning that there is no significant relationship between leadership and employee motivation at the Adventist University of Indonesia. Regarding leadership, respondents stated that leadership is applied to the Adventist University of Indonesia well, judging from the average Mean = 4.318. But there are weak points based on statements X9 with respondents undecided, ie, the first in terms of leadership provides the opportunity for employees to express feelings and concerns, with Mean = 3.33, the second is a statement X7, in terms of leadership provides an example a good example to employees with Mean = 3.37. Regarding the motivation to work, the respondents stated that they agree that they have a good motivation, with an average value Mean = 3.535. Regarding the influence of leadership with employee motivation, it can be concluded that there is a very low correlation between leadership and motivation to work is seen from the value of r = 0.018. And the results are not significant in tcount (0.95) < ttable (1,701). Leadership and contribution to the work motivation can be seen from the value of kd = 0.034%.
