ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF ROLE STRESS ON AUDITOR PERFORMANCE Written By: Daniel Hunson Hutagaol NIM: 1532092 The study was conducted in order to find out how role stress and auditor performance. in KAP South Jakarta, and to find effect of role stress to auditor performance. The population in the research are auditor working in the public accounting firm in South Jakarta, the samples were determined based on conviniece sampling technique. Data were collected by using questionnaire, there were 50 questionnaires distributed in 3 Public Accountant Firm. The analysis data was made by using linear regression supported by SPSS v.16 for Windows. Based on the results of this study shows that the role stress in very bad categories, while for the auditor performance in very bad category. The results also showed the variables of role stress have a negative effect on auditor performance. . Keywords: Role Stress, Auditor Performance.
