ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF SOLVABILITY AND PROFITABILITY TOWARDS FIRM VALUE AT COMPANIES LISTED IN BEI - CONSUMER GOODS INDUSTRY SECTOR in 2017 Written by: Veronika Nababan 1532038 This study was conducted to find out how the solvability and profitability of companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2017, and to find out how firm value of companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2017, and to know how the solvability and profitability to firm value in the consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the IDX in the 2017. In this study the method used is a quantitative method using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, where data is collected then analyzed and given the conclusion of the analysis. This technique is research data namely Secondary Data with the type of cross section accessed from the official website www.IDX.co.id. While data management techniques using statistical analysis, analysis to determine the relationship between existing variables, the right analysis to test the effect of X variables, regression analysis, and significant analysis to determine the relationship of variables or rejection. The results of this study indicate that (1) the solvability (DER) is positive and significant to firm value with a significant value of 0,001 (2) profitability (EPS) is positive and significant to firm value with a significance value of 0,000 (3) solvability dan profitability simultaneously positive relations and significant to firm value with a significance value of 0,000.
