ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF WORK MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT. NUSANTARA JAYA SENTOSA MAIN DEALER SUZUKI MOBIL JAWA BARAT By : Joice Yohana Bindosano The purpose of this study determined the effect of work motivation on employee performance at PT. Nusantara Jaya Sentosa Main Dealer Suzuki Mobil Jawa Barat. The variables studied were variable X as the independent variable was motivation and Y as the dependent variable was the performance of the employee. The method used was descriptive method, that data was collected, processed, analyzed, and then conclude. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Spearman Rank analysis and Likert scale. Based on the statistical analysis of known Spearman rank correlation coefficient (rs) = 0.690 which means the relationship between employee motivation with the employee's performance was strong. Based on the t test = 5.221 and t table = 1.697, the t-count> t-table which means that H0 was rejected and Ha accepted, which means that there was a significant and positive relationship between work motivation and performance of employees. The magnitude of the correlation coefficient (Kd) = 47.61% ≈ 48%. This means that changes in the performance of employees 48% indicated by changes in work motivation. And the remaining 52% was determined by other factors outside of this research. In general, the results of data processing shown that employee motivation was very good and the results of data processing shown that the performance of good employees where employees have high initiative and establish team work both horizontally and vertically.
