ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO AND DEBT TO ASSET RATIO TOWARD RETURN ON EQUITY AT PT. ULTRAJAYA MILK INDUSTRY BANDUNG Arranged by: Rio Yustanto NIM: 1332053 This study aimied to determine whether Debt to Equity Ratio and Debt to Asset Ratio has an influence toward Return on Equity. In this study the data used for each variable was secondary data seen from assets, liabilities, and equity obtained from PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry, Tbk. Data processed and analyzed with SPSS software. The sample of this research using purposive sampling technique in accordance with criteria of PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry Bandung during the period 2012-2016. The results showed that there was no significant effect between DER on ROE, so did DAR to ROE which showed no significant effect, and there was no significant effect between DER and DAR on ROE. Keywords: Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Return on Equity (ROE).
