ABSTRAC PERANAN TAHAPAN AUDIT OPERASIONAL DALAM USAHA MENEKAN TINGKAT KECACATAN PRODUK PADA PT. X Disusun Oleh: Vanessa Shitsuke Glorified NIM: 1332079 The purpose of this research was to determine how the role of the stages of operational audits in an effort to reduce the level of product defects in PT. X. In this research the author uses descriptive method by collecting companies data so that can produce the information needed in analyzing the problem. The author also conducted coefficient correlation analysis, coefficient determination analysis and the statistical test using t-test with α = 0,05. Based on the research that has been done it can be seen that the stages of operational audits in an effort to reduce the level of product defects in PT. X has a correlation coefficient of -0.085, which means the relationship between the two variables was very low with a negative direction. From the analysis of the obtained results of determination coefficient of 0.72% which means that the stages of operational audits contributed only 0.72% in its efforts to reduce the level of product defects. From the results of tests of significance with tcount, then obtained tcount
