ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF MATERIAL COST AND DIRECT LABOR ON PRODUCTION COST Written by : Wasti Marbun NIM: 1432225 The study was conducted in order to find out how the Material Cost, Direct Labor Cost, and Production Cost in PT. Asian Isuzu Casting Center, and to find effect of Material Cost and Direct Labor Cost to Production Cost in PT. Asian Isuzu Casting Center. The researcher used descriptive methodology, gather the data through monthly report, with a processing technique using statistic analysis. Based on the research can be seen from correlation coefficient analysis obtained r = 0,777, which means the correlation between Material Cost and Direct Labor Cost to Production Cost was strong. And test significance is fcount 87, 904 > 3,28 ftable since Ha was not rejected and Ho was rejected, it means there was significant Material Cost and Direct Labor Cost to Production Cost at PT.
