ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF MACHINE MAINTENANCE COSTS ON PRODUCTIVITY OF THE PRODUCTION UNIT IN PT. MEERKATS FLEXIPACK INDONESIA Written by: Edwin Timothy Pasaribu 1532060 This study aims to determine the effect of machine maintenance costs on the productivity of production units at PT. Flexipack Indonesian Merkaats. The method used is descriptive method. Data collection is done by studying documentation, namely from data on machine maintenance costs and productivity of production units. Data analysis used is correlation coefficient analysis, significant test at α = 0.05, coefficient of determination analysis and linear regression analysis. Based on the results of testing, it was found that maintenance costs had a significant effect on production productivity with a significant value of 0.050 <0.05 which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted and negative at t_ (count) indicates that there is a negative relationship between variables. This shows that the higher maintenance costs can reduce productivity, and vice versa. The smaller use of maintenance costs will increase the productivity of the company's production.
