ABSTRACT EFFECT OF WORKING CAPITAL TO PROFITABILITY PT. INDOFOOD SUKSES MAKMUR .TBK By : Caesar Triagus Sagala The purpose of this research was to find out how working capital and profitability achieved and the effect of working capital on profitability at PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur .Tbk. As in this study used a descriptive method, the research conducted by collecting data, presenting and analyzing the data that was available, then the data was processed and than concluded. The data was used data Balance Sheet and Income Statement in 2004 to 2013. The Data were analyzed using correlation coefficient analysis, a significant test and linear regression analysis. Net working capital at PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk from 2004 to 2013 fluctuated. Where the percentage of working capital management in the year 2005 - 2008 had decreased, but in 2009 - the year 2012 has increased and in 2013 net working capital of PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk has decreased. Profitability at PT. Indofood can be calculated through analysis of ROA, ROE and NPM. Where was the lowest ROA reached a value of 0.83% in 2005, while the highest ROA reached value of 9.11% was the lowest in 2011. ROE reached a value of 2.84% in 2005. While that was the highest ROE reached a value of 18.44 % in 2009. and the lowest NPM in 2005 amounted to 0.66% and while the highest was 10.69% NPM in 2011.
