ABSTRACT ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA TN. D DENGAN LUKA DIABETIK DI DESA CIHIDEUNG RT 01/ RW 10 Arramged by: Desi Saputri Manurung NIM: 1953072 Background: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia (increased glucose levels) caused by a lack of the hormone insulin, decreased effect of insulin or both. Purpose: The writing of this scientific paper was conducted to analyze the results of the implementation of nursing care with wound care interventions using 0.9% NaCl to accelerate wound healing. The writing is done by using descriptive method in the form of case report by collecting data through observation, interview, documentation study and literature study. Results: The results of the assessment found that the client had high blood sugar values and wet wounds that did not heal. Nursing diagnoses taken were: hyperglycemia, risk of infection, and lack of knowledge. Interventions are prepared and provided through nursing implementation. The results obtained after the intervention were that there was a drying of the wound during wound care using 0.9% NaCl solution. Suggestion: Nursing, especially nurses and nursing student education, should be able to properly implement wound care interventions using 0.9% NaCl in addition to pharmacological and nonpharmacological drugs.
