ABSTRACT NURSING CARE FOR Mr.G: COVID-19 PATIENT WITH ANXIETY MANAGEMENT AT THE SAMUEL DORMITORY ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY, INDONESIA Paramitha Ellsye Kusuma Haryanti S.Kep NIM:2053013 Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of disease that has never been previously identified in humans. The virus that causes COVID-19 is called SarsCov-2. The corona virus is now a disease that is endemic all over the world. This epidemic not only attacks humans physically but also psychologically, resulting in mass anxiety that occurs. This nursing care is motivated by the author's experience in treating COVID-19 isolation patients. The method used is descriptive method by conducting direct interviews with patients, observation and literature. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the patient had less knowledge about anxiety management in dealing with COVID-19. Then given nursing care with anxiety management interventions as well as health education to prevent COVID-19 the patient has a better understanding of the illness he is suffering from. The conclusion obtained is by providing education on anxiety management with deep breathing relaxation and health education on maintaining health protocols, patients and families understand more about disease and know how to prevent disease.
