ABSTRACT "THE INFLUENCE OF THE URBAN EVANGELISM OF SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH TOWARD THE SPIRITUAL QUALITY OF THE SHENGMING QUAN CHURCH SURABAYA BASED ON MATTHEW 28:19” DENI SETIAWAN NIM: 1711019 In this study the author tries to examine the effect of urban evangelism on the spiritual quality of the church based on Matthew 28:19. The research was conducted at the Shengming Quan Surabaya congregation. By area, theoretical research has 4 discussions. First: What was Jesus' Purpose for giving the commandment to evangelize? Explain the purpose of Jesus in giving the gospel that the author found to provide help to sinners in order to receive the news of salvation. And also to help those who are already in safety keep them safe. Second: What is the Jesus Method for evangelizing in urban areas? There are many methods of evangelizing, but there are 3 things that are easiest to use in the city. It is an active evangelistic method where it pays attention to busy people, then lifestyle evangelism, practicing the right lifestyle, and evangelism through prayer, which is praying for every soul. Third: What is the effect of urban evangelism on the spiritual quality of the congregation? Which in fact affects the development process of the congregation in the city, because it can obviously increase the number of church members. Then can help members who are busy not able to serve out of town, can serve in the city and make church members more active in serving and giving to help the servants. Fourth: What does Matthew 28:19 mean, regarding urban evangelism? Which has a meaning where "make disciples of all nations" means that people in the city also need to be evangelized and served because they really need more attention.
