Waken NIM: 1531018 The sustainability of the company can be caused by factors, such as the good and poor quality of human resources (HR). A common problem with HR is that employee performance is often affected by company compensation. The study was motivated by findings that incentive payments are one of the factors that affect employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of incentives on employee performance at PT Freeport Indonesia. The research design uses quantitative with a model of causal associative shortness. Samples used by 50 employees at PT Freeport Indonesia. The research design uses quantitative with a model of causal associative shortness. Samples used by 50 employees at PT Freeport Indonesia. The results found that incentives and employee performance were interpreted very well, incentives had a strong influence on performance (value r = 0.630), and there was a significant influence of incentives on employee performance (p value 0.002 < α 0.05). Advice given to employees in order to maintain positive aspects such as good performance; advice for companies to maintain and improve the compensation system for employees as a step to support good employee performance and achieve the success of the company.
