Keywords: competition Life is a competition. Humans in their lives cannot avoid what is called competition, because in addition to the human desire to always be the best, competition also functions as means to reach the goal. Competition is always there and influences every aspect of human life. There are two major parts of the influence of competition in human life: first, the positive influence that is through competition faced by humans can make people try to be better. The second influence is the negative influence, that is, because many people also have the same goal, so that they can achieve the goal using ways that are not good. Activities that can involve all church members from children to parents are exercising. If all members of the congregation can be involved in joint sports activities between the congregations, other activities will be carried out, involving all church members. Competition in joint sports held by several churches is also inseparable from the two influences mentioned above. In a joint match, the desire to be a winner and the others must be defeated must be there, so that if the competition in joint sports is not well understood on the meaning and the goal will certainly turn out to be an arena for unfair competition. Competition in joint sports if done well can be a means of uniting the churches involved so as to encourage service because joint sports activities are a means to strengthen a sense of family. Cooperation programs between congregations related to spirituality and also concerning relations with the wider community can be started from joint sports activities. The research was conducted in the Manado South Region of the Manado and North Maluku Conference Areas with the aim of finding out how strong the link between competition in sports was to the unity and unity of church members and related to the spiritual growth of church members. The results showed that there was a relationship between competition in sports on spirituality of members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Manado South Regional Conference of Manado and North Maluku with a percentage of 63.6%. Evidence that competition in joint sports between churches can affect the unity and spiritual growth of the members of the church involved. The final section is the conclusion of the analysis of field research and application suggestions that can be implemented so that members of the congregation grow in spirituality and encourage enthusiasm in serving, witnessing and having strong love and unity among fellow church members.
