ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF RETURN ON EQUITY SHARE PRICE ON PT. TELEKOMUNIKASI INDONESIA TBK By: ARDI PURBA This study aimed to determine the effect of return on equity to the stock price of a company to attract investors who will invest capital to a company to raise capital, assets, as well as the company's profits. This study used a descriptive method in which the data used was the actual data that was then processed to draw conclusions. In the data collection was done by using secondary data which has been in publication. Secondary data will be processed using that data analysis, linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, a significant test and coefficient of determination. Based on the survey results revealed that the correlation coefficient (r) = 0.319 which means that the influence of the return on equity to the stock price was low. Based on significant test showed that tcount 0.825 and ttable 1.943 with α = 0,05dan n-2 which means tcount< ttable then Ho was accepted it means that there was no significant relationship between return on equity on stock price. Based on the analysis of the coefficient of determination, it was known KD = 10.2% means that the stock price did not depend on the return on equity, but 89.8% were influenced by other factors outside of this research.
