ABSTRACT Thesis Title :ANALYSIS OF THE CHURH MEMBERRS INVOWEMENT THRONGH PERSONAL EVANGELISM TOWARD THE GROWTH OF THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH MEMBERS OF THE XIX REGION OF JAKARTA CONFRENCE BASED ON MARK 13:10 Researcher Name : Waldin Purba Name and Title : M.Fil Supervisor : Pdt. Dr. R. Hutabarat, M.A., M.Div End Date : ____ April 2018 The Church, which is an assembly of believers to God who declares himself in one faith, necessarily requires the coaching of knowledge in the sphere of spirituality so that they may carry out the duties and responsibilities of the members of the church called by God. The Word of God in the Gospel of Mark 13:10 reads, "But the gospel must first be preached to all nations. One method of evangelism that is considered effective for the growth of church membership, which is being made / programmed throughout the entire area of the Conjunction and the surrounding GMAHK, is personal evangelism. Third, to find out what factors are inhibiting the congregation in individual evangelism on the growth of the church in quality and quantity in the Seventh-day Adventist Church of the DKI Conference and Surrounding Area? Fourthly, to determine whether there is influence of the competency of the members on the quality of the congregation's understanding in the individual evangelization of the church growth in quality and quantity in the Seventh-day Adventist Church of DKI and its Surroundings. The Gospel of Mark is the second Gospel in the NT passage in the Christian Bible. Mark is the author of this Book. Although this is the second book, many scholars regard this book as the earliest written Book of the NT books. Mark's Gospel is classified into the Synoptic Gospels Together with the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. Humans often only pay attention to visible needs, such as clothing, food and work. Yet God sees the need of man who is not physically visible, far more important to salvation (eternal life). God is also very concerned about physical needs. The strong reason why the gospel of salvation should be preached to all people around the world is the will of God for all to be saved. The involvement of all members of the congregation in the ministry of personal evangelism is an absolute thing to do because it is the responsibility of every people of God. When all members of the church play a role in communicating the gospel to others who do not yet know it. The research method that writer use in preparing this thesis there are 2 (two) part. First data library and field data. Field data is made through descriptive method according to the result, that is a method in human group research, an object, a system of thought or a current event whose purpose is to get the picture systematically, factually and research can be done so that research hypostasis can be tested scientifically, empirically , and accurate about the facts, traits and relationships that are investigated. As for the variables in this study entitled Analysis of Church Member Involvement through Individual Evangelism on Growth in the Seventh-day Adventist Church of the XIX Region of DKI Conference and Surrounding by Mark 13:10 is first, an understanding of individual evangelism enhances the growth of the congregation. Test requirements analysis is needed to determine whether the data analysis for hypothesis testing can proceed or not. Some data analysis techniques require test requirements analysis. Variant analysis requires that data come from normally distributed populations and groups that are homogeneous. Therefore, variant analysis requires normality test and data homogeneity. This study test data analysis requirements such as validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, hypothesis test, and description statistic. The conclusions of this study are First, the level of congregational understanding in individual evangelism based on Mark 13:10 of 4.45. Second, the level of quality of congregational involvement in individual evangelism on church growth in the congregations of 4.45. Third, the factors that hinder the congregation in the individual evangelization of the growth of the church in quality and quantity in the Seventh-day Adventist Church of the XIX Region of DKI Conference and its surroundings are members of the congregation disliking sinners who are unhappy with their friendship and traumatized by humiliation as a Christian. Fourth, the percentage of Members of the Church through Individual Evangelization to the Growth of the Community in the Seventh-day Adventist Church of the XIX Region of DKI Conference and Surrounding by Markus 13:10 of 33.4%. Suggestions from the research are one of the evangelical methods that are considered effective for the growth of church membership, which is being made / programmed in the entire area of the Conjunction and surrounding GMAHK is an individual evangelism, so it is recommended that members of the congregation can always engage in individual evangelism because of the importance of growth churches in the quality and quantity of the church in the Seventh-day Adventist Church of the XIX region of DKI Conference and Surroundings. If every God's people do personal Evangelism, then the result is God's people of quality and of course that will have an impact on the growing number of members. The implication of this study is that every member of the church must involve himself to carry out individual evangelism in accordance with the example that Jesus did while He was still on this earth in doing His mission because the main purpose of this Great Commission in terms of evangelism is to make all nations become disciples -His. So Jesus Himself brings men and women to Christ so that they fully surrender themselves to Him (John 12: 34; 1 Peter 2: 9) and have a firm faith and after becoming a disciple of Christ, it is imperative that those who have been saved are evangelizing which is the manifestation of the Great Commission (Mark 13:10).
