ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF RETURN ON EQUITY TO THE STOCK PRICE ON PT. BANK CIMB NIAGA TBK By: Jannet Flora Pamita The research was conducted aiming to find out how Return on Equity and the price of shares in the company and also know how the Return on Equity to the stock price at PT. Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk. This research was done using descriptive method, where data are obtained by collecting, analyzing and presenting data as well as give an overview about the research object to retrieve a conclusion. Data collection was conducted through the medium of the internet to obtain data regarding financial report that have been published. The data is then processed using SPSS software. Based on the research result obtained revealed that the average Return on Equity in PT. Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk from 2006 to 2013 was 0,1680 per year. While the average stock price on PT. Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk from 2006 to 2013 was 1021 per year. Based on the analysis of the Correlation Coefficient known r = 0,761 which means there was a high and positive relationship between Return on Equity of stock price with Linear regression analysis Y = -220,104 + 73,894X. And from the result of testing the hypothesis of tcount > ttable that is 2,871 > 1,943 that Ho was rejected. That means that Return on Equity was influential in partial response to the share price so that the alternative hypothesis Ha was accepted.
