ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF HEALTH PROMOTION ON THE COMPLIANCE LEVEL OF NURSES IN THE USE OF SELF-PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT IN THE GENERAL POLY SPACE OF THE KAGOK PUSKESMAS SEMARANG Arranged by: Laurensia Raditya Masken Kartolo 2053002 This research was motivated by the large number of health workers who were confirmed positive for Covid19 and also found that many nurses who were on duty did not wear complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) especially during this pandemic. The general objective is to determine the compliance of nurses with the use of personal protective equipment in the general polyclinic room of the Kagok Public Health Center, Semarang City. The method used in writing scientific papers is descriptive method through preliminary field studies and literature studies. Based on the results of the situation study, it was found that the nurses who were on duty were not obedient in using the PPE completely. After health promotion was carried out, namely by always reminding every nurse on duty to use PPE completely, the level of nurse compliance showed a significant increase. The conclusion is that there is an increase in the percentage level of compliance of nurses in using PPE, with the percentage of compliance of nurses before health promotion is 26.4% and an increase after health promotion is 59.2%. The author suggests that the person in charge of the room at the puskesmas pay more attention and periodically evaluate the completeness of the PPE used by each nurse on duty.
