ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF WORK MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION AT PT MANDARA MEDIKA PERKASA JAKARTA Written by: Erdones Triokber Tampubolon NIM: 1531016 The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of work motivation on emplee job satisfaction at PT. Mandara Medika Perkasa Jakarta. The research methodoly that was used is descriptive study. The population determined in this study are employees at PT. Mandara Medika Perkasa and the samples taken were 30 respondents. Two instruments was used to find motivation and and job satisfaction among employees. The instruments has been tested for validity and reliability with factor correlations greater than 0,3 and cronbach’s alpha 0,724 (work motivation) and 0.834 (job satisfaction). The data obtained were then processed using SPSS for linear regression analysis techniques. The result of this study showed that the correlation coefficient between work motivation and job satisfaction was 0,348. It means that motivation has a weak relationship with job satisfaction. On the other hand, the test of the coefficient of determination shows a value of 0,121; that it means that work motivation has a positive effect on job satisfaction. at PT Mandara Medika Perkasa Jakarta Based on the test of the coefficient of determination, the contribution of work motivation to influence job satisfaction is 12%, and the remaining 88% is influenced by other factors outside the research variables used. This study showed that motivation plays an important role in the performance of the employees in the company. Regression analysis showed that Y=19.857 + 0,557 X which means job satisfaction will be increase by 0.557 if there is sufficient work motivation. This result showed that work movitation is correlated with job satisfaction among the employee. Keywords: Work motivation, Job satisfaction
