Div Date of Completion : May 4th, 2021 Evangelism is like the breath of a worldwide church. The church will continue to live if its evangelism goes well. No one expected before when the Covid-19 pandemic hit all regions of the world. Sociologically, this pandemic has caused unplanned social changes. This means that the social changes that occur are surprising and their presence is not desired by the community. As a result, the people's unpreparedness in facing this pandemic has in turn led to social disorganization in all aspects of people's lives. In fact, almost all the leaders of the countries in the world do not have sufficient preparation to protect their citizens in facing this big problem. Furthermore, the condition of the people who are not ready to accept the changes caused by this pandemic can certainly shake the social values and norms that have been developed and embraced by the community so far, and in particular on evangelism services will be described in this study. This pandemic has made the role of the internet and communication technology very prominent and has a strong role. Churches around the world are closing services and face-to-face services in church buildings and moving them to cyberspace by broadcasting a series of services through various internet applications such as Youtube and Zoom Meeting. The use of online media and social media is increasing even though it is something new for church services and there is a suspicion that this situation will continue and will continue to increase in the future. On the one hand, it is also interesting to see that more people attend online services than attend face-to-face in the previous church building. So this opportunity must be used to continue to develop new methods and tools in carrying out the mission of the church ministry in the future. The same thing must be experienced by the ministry of literature evangelists who are no longer allowed to meet other people and visit buyers from house to house. The objectives of this study are: First, to contribute specifically to the importance of using online media, namely social media to meet the spiritual needs of church members and reach out to souls who will be led to Christ even in the current pandemic situation. Second, giving readers an understanding of the important role of the ministry of literature evangelists and social media in providing written material in both printed and digital forms in introducing the gospel to the public. The theoretical basis described in the book of II Timothy 4: 2 concerning the work of the ministry which must face situations in good or bad circumstances should not stop the work of evangelism in the midst of this world. The changing times are so fast forcing all mankind to be prepared and able to adapt in any situation. Each generation will have its own story in living its life. The same is true of the evangelistic ministry today. Everything changes quickly, when humans have not fully mastered a situation that has occurred, new situations and changes that must be faced are similar to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all fields are forced to adapt in order to survive, including literature evangelism services must remain. walk in difficult times though. There is no higher job than literary evangelism because it accomplishes only the highest moral tasks. Those who do this work need to be under constant control of the Spirit of God. The work of publishing books must be a means of accelerating the spread of present-day truth to the world. Our publishing now sows the seeds of the gospel, and is a means of bringing many souls to Christ as the word is preached. Entire congregations have been established as a result of the distribution of books and tracts that were printed and distributed. And now social media is playing an important role in helping the ministry of literature evangelists. Therefore, evangelistic services through digital media can be a tool used by God to hasten His coming. Because through media services, efforts to spread the gospel cannot be limited by location and time. Forms of Service through Digital Media in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Sermon Live streaming is a social media feature that is being widely used by various groups of people and even organizations. This feature can be found on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. Today, many churches also use the live streaming feature to display live broadcasts during services. And the same should be done in the process of evangelism and continuing the ministry of literature evangelists. The variables in this study were (X1) The influence of the ministry of literature evangelists through the sale of books on souls who were led to study the Bible. (X2) The Effect of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the Service Activities of Literature Evangelists Based on II Timothy 4: 2. (X3) The Effectiveness of Literature Evangelists in Using Social Media for Evangelism during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The study will find the level of effectiveness of literature evangelist services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The number of respondents who have filled out the questionnaire from 1-30 items is 71 people. Respondent profiles consist of: gender, service area, tenure as a literature evangelist. Analysis is needed to determine whether data analysis for testing can be continued or not. Several data analysis techniques demand a test of analytical requirements. Analysis of variance requires that the data come from a normally distributed population and homogeneous compared groups. Therefore, analysis of variance requires testing of validity, reliability, normality, linearity, hypothesis and descriptive statistics. The conclusions that can be given are as follows: First, the results of the X1 variable test score of 4.93 (Strongly Agree) that the service of selling books is for the purpose of reaching buyers of books to be led to receive the gospel message through Bible study by pastors who will teach and hope to receive baptism later day. Thus, the average answer in the West Java Conference and Central Java Region is very agreeable. Second, the results of the X2 variable test score of 3.63 (Agree) that the covid-19 pandemic event that is currently occurring greatly affects their service activities. But that does not make literature evangelists stop serving, but to use new strategies and adapt to the current situation so that evangelistic activities can run well again. Third, the results of the X3 variable test "score 3.83 (Agree) that the presence of social media will replace the role of literature evangelists visiting door to door and visits to office buildings. The use of WA social media can serve to sell books, build communication and pray for buyers and even teach buyers who are interested in studying the Bible. From so many social media platforms, this research finds that WhatsApp (WA) social media is one of the most effective means of spreading out due to the Covid19 pandemic.
