XMLABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF CHINESE HAKKA LANGUAGE ON SOUL WITHDRAWAL IN THE CHURCH OF THE SEVENTH DAY ADVENT OF THE CONGREGATION GUANG HUA PONTIANAK BASED ON THE ACTS 2:6 Sonson Yustanto NIM: 1711015 In this study, the author tries to examine how the influence of language in communication, especially in this study are related to Christianity or have an influence on soul withdrawal based on Acts 2:6 in the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDAC) Guang Hua Pontianak . Simply, this study has a basis with three main indicators, namely: the importance of language in communication, the influence of Hakka language in evangelism to the Chinese Hakka tribe, and the method of evangelizing Jesus. This research is divided into two main parts, namely theoretical research and field research. The results of the theoretical research are about how influential the language used for communication is so that the messenger and the person receiving the message are closer and easier, if it is close, the first method of evangelism, which is mingling, can work well and will affect the next stage, namely winning souls for Christ. This research includes 3 parts, namely: (1) The importance of language in communication. Some of them are to convey messages and receive messages properly and correctly, then to get closer to the people we visit more quickly; (2) The Influence of Hakka Language in Evangelism to the Chinese Hua Hakka Tribe. The Chinese Hakka tribe has their own language, namely the Hakka language or what is also often called the Khek language, therefore to approach this tribe we must be able to communicate with them using the Hakka language so that the information or messages we convey or what we receive can be conveyed and received properly and correctly; (3) Jesus' Method of Evangelism. Jesus' method in evangelizing is the best method we can use to evangelize to others because by mingling, sympathizing, caring for their needs, teaching, and inviting and accompanied by communication in the same language it is definitely easier to approach them and convey the gospel more. good. The results of field research conducted through questionnaires distributed to 50 members of the SDAC Guang Hua Pontianak, resulted in data that concluded that the respondents had a good understanding. But a good understanding will get better with practice. Keywords: Language, Influence, Soul Withdrawal
