ABSTRAC The Influence of the Important Role of Pastors and Teachers Maintaining the Faith of Young People InSeventh-day Adventist ChurchPas Kulor congregation, Singkawang Based on Proverbs 22: 6 Matius Perdi NIM: 1711001 In this study, the author tries to examine how the important role of pastors and teachers in maintaining the faith of young people, especially in this study is in Christianity which is related to or has an influence on maintaining the growth of the faith of young people in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Simply put, this study has a basis with four main indicators, namely: understanding of youth service, the role of pastors to young people, the role of teachers in educating young people's spirituality, and how young people defend their faith. This research is divided into four main parts, namely theoretical research and field research. The results of the theoretical research are about the reasons for the important role of pastors and teachers in fostering the faith of young people, the influence of spiritual teachers on the faith of a young person. This research includes 4 parts, namely 1) Youth ministry is very important for the future and growth of the church because the existence of this youth ministry makes young people more active in taking part in the church, Youth ministry is very important for the church, to build leadership in youth ministry, because when young people are equipped with the leadership they will get used to it when they are no longer in the church, 2) The influence of a pastor on young people is to provide sufficient motivation and teaching because young people in their youth need such advice and motivation. that is why a shepherd is so important to young people. 3) The role of a teacher towards young people is that they must be able to shape the character of students well because young people are inseparable from the influence of the very rapid development of the era of science and technology which makes the character of young people degenerate and easily influenced. 4) They must always be involved in the story of faith with Jesus and spiritual associations in the church, one of which is through youth ministry. The results of field research conducted through questionnaires distributed to 28 members of the Pas Kulon GMAHK congregation resulted in data that concluded that the respondents had a very good understanding.
