ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF ATTENDING FAMILY SEMINAR TOWARD MUTUAL LOVING BEHAVIOR IN THE SINDAR RAYA SIMALUNGUN SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH OF NORTH SUMATERA MISSION BASSED ON EPHESIANS 5:22-25 Ejuntri Purba NIM: 1711004 In this study, the author tries to examine how household seminars affect the application of love, especially in Christianity which is related to or has an influence on the growth of love in the congregational family based on Ephesians 5: 22-25 in the Sindar Raya Seventh-day Adventist Church in North Sumatra. Simply put, this research is based on four main indicators: The meaning of the family according to the Bible, the benefits of household seminars in the family, the spiritual growth of the family, and the influence of the Home seminar on spirituality. This research is divided into two main parts, namely theoretical research and field research. The results of the theoretical research are about the reasons a person participates in household seminars and the effects of household seminars. This research includes 4 parts, namely 1) Biblical meaning of family. For this reason, it is hoped that a peaceful atmosphere can be created in the family so that family members get comfort. 2) Benefits of Household seminars to help families become harmonious families and become families that walk in God's corridor. 3) Domestic spiritual growth as a result of household seminars By seeing this, the family has a very important and main meaning in educating children who are given by God to each parent, so that the child grows in the knowledge of the Truth of God's Word and has a personality that is according to the truth of God's Word which is the basis and guidance in every step of the child's life. 4) The influence of the household seminar on the spirituality of the church, "The family is directed to form a fellowship in which there is a husband, a wife and children where they live in one house. The results of field research conducted through questionnaires distributed to 40 members of the Sindar Raya GMAHK congregation resulted in data that concluded that the respondents had a good understanding. But a good understanding will get better with practice. Key Words: Family, Household, Loving
